Sliding Gates: Sliding (cantilever) gates open by sliding sideways along the fence line rather than swinging inward or outward. Operating on roller carriages and guide tracks, the bottom of the gate never touches the driveway. Because they are suspended off the ground, snow, ice, and gravel cannot block their movement, while easily accommodating driveways up to 13.5 meters wide and gate weights up to 1,200 kg.

Sliding Gate Hardware: Smooth sliding gate operation relies on a complete hardware kit: roller carriages and guide tracks for movement, top guide rollers for stability, and end wheels with run-in catchers to relieve stress when closed. INOX is short for the French word "inoxydable", which is the international term for stainless steel. Unlike standard carbon steel that rusts when exposed to moisture, INOX contains at least 16% chromium. Chromium reacts with oxygen in the air to form an invisible, self-protecting "passive layer" that permanently shields the metal from oxidation and corrosion.

AISI 304 (Standard Grade): The most popular choice for all indoor projects (staircase railings, loft balustrades) and standard outdoor installations. It provides high structural strength, excellent wear resistance, and a modern aesthetic at a cost-effective price​.

AISI 316 ("Marine" Grade): Enriched with molybdenum (2–3%), this steel grade is specifically engineered for harsh outdoor environments, coastal areas exposed to salty air, and pool enclosures. It is highly resistant to aggressive chlorides, de-icing salts, and industrial pollution that would corrode lesser metals.

Satin & Polished Finishes: Available in an elegant satin / brushed finish (which hides fingerprints and minor scratches for a contemporary look) or a polished / mirror finish (which creates a mirror-smooth surface that prevents dirt and salt particles from adhering to the metal).

When designing a modular INOX railing system, it is essential to select compatible components based on the installation environment, mounting surface, and desired infill type:

1. Choose the Infill Type & Matching Hardware

• Glass Infill: Pair INOX posts (i31 - product group) with glass clamps (i01) and rubber gaskets matched to the glass thickness (from 8 mm to 21.52 mm). For a completely seamless view, opt for a frameless aluminum base channel profile (i04).
• Bar / Tube Infill: Attach crossbar holders (i02) to the posts to mount horizontal stainless steel tubes (i101) for a sleek, linear look.
• Cable Infill: Combine cable tensioners and end fittings (i03) with stainless steel wire rope (i92) to achieve a lightweight, modern industrial aesthetic.

2. Select the Mounting Method (Top or Side Mount)

• Top (Floor) Mount: Uses bottom mounting flanges (i21) anchored directly into a concrete base or wooden steps. Add matching base cover caps (i23) to hide anchor bolts for a clean finish.
• Side (Fascia) Mount: Uses side-mounting brackets (i22) to attach posts to the side of a balcony or staircase, preserving maximum usable floor space.

3. Handrails & Modular Weld-Free Assembly 

• Handrails attach to posts via adjustable handrail supports (i06, i08) or mount directly to walls using wall brackets (i05). You can also mix materials by pairing INOX fittings with natural wooden handrails (i41).
• Modular connectors, elbows (i13), and end caps (i11, i12) join securely using specialized industrial metal adhesive (i91)—enabling a strong, weld-free installation right on site.
